With generations of family in the Cody area, Janet Jones grew up with Yellowstone and the Cody area as the backdrop for countless cherished memories. Moving here in 2014 felt like coming home. Her background as a teacher has shifted to simply being a life-long learner. She has spent over a decade learning about the thermal features in Yellowstone. In 2017, she published a guide book for West Thumb Geyser Basin and has more books to come. She shares her enthusiasm for this amazing place through all she does.
